Working in urban scenarios, particularly in commercial areas, this video and audio project explores the idea of transaction and exchange, including the communication and social relations that occur there, beyond the economic charge upon which they are based.

In these contexts; where language, body, gestures, symbols, images and inter-personal relations are building transient bridges in the everyday.

Two contexts are involving a series of alternative transactions, the first one (the visual one) capture the gestures, social relations and repetitions found in open fruit and vegetable markets in working-class and multicultural areas both in Antwerp and Brussels.

The second one (audio) is focus in the flow and exchanges in terms of words and language; and its de-hierarchization inside money transfer of offices such as Money Gram or Western Union in which language barriers are dissolving within the space. A journey where both realities (video-audio) orbit; at times, without touching between them.
