Graduated with honors in the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú Fine Arts Department, she continued her education in visual arts with a masters program at l'ENSAV La Cambre in Brussels and in 2019 she completed her MFA In Situ of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp. In 2021 she was a laureate of the Friends of S.M.A.K. Prize (Ghent) and was awarded the Prince Claus Seed Awards 2022.
Her work explores the threshold between material culture, otherness, value concepts, and socio-spatial dynamics in the everyday. Her practice consists of delving into environments set by informal economies and analyzing how individuals’ stories, choreographic behaviors, and affective relations coexist with economic precariousness. Her work makes use of different media, such as sculpture, video, drawing, and installation.
